Sand Harbor Sunrise

The image was captured just as the sun was coming up but still blocked by the mountains behind me. This created the wonderful orange/teal color contrast between the horizon and shallow clear lake shore. The nice thing about photographing at sunrise is that usually no one is around and I have the place to myself. Tahoe was really calm that day adding to the peaceful feeling of being there at that hour.
